Additional Information

Kum, based in Erlangen, Germany, have been making some of the best pencil sharpeners in the world since 1919. They make a vast selection of different sharpeners, from the simplest block sharpeners in brass or magnesium alloys, to the wonderful Automatic Long Point sharpener that sharpens wood and lead in separate stages to give a long, narrow point.

They all feature KUM’s excellent quality high-carbon steel blades, which are made to be slightly curved so they act like a spring, maintaining a constant pressure on the screw, and keeping the blade firmly in place.

They also make oustanding paint brushes, with their factory retaining the only active Golden Master Brushmaker in the world, a distinction that requires 45 years' experience of making brushes!

FREE First Class Royal Mail delivery for orders over £15, and just £2.50 for smaller orders. Royal Mail Special Delivery available for £6.95 extra, or FREE with any order over £100 - but note that coronavirus means the usual guarantee doesn't apply - sorry. No delivery surcharges for Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands or anywhere else!

Europe

FREE delivery for orders over £70. Smaller orders £7.50 per order for Registered Priority Airmail, typically 5-8 days. Express air courier available at extra cost. Orders over 2Kg in weight may be subject to additional cost.

Rest of the World

FREE delivery for orders over £70. Smaller orders £10 per order for Registered Priority Airmail, typically 5-8 days. Express air courier available at extra cost. Orders over 2Kg in weight may be subject to additional cost.

For all orders outside the UK, heavy orders may cost more to send, but the shipping cost will be displayed in the checkout before you commit.
