Cult Pens Creative

For most of this year we've been sharing our customers' creations with you all on our social media pages, to show the range of fantastic work our lovely customers produce! In case you've missed any of it we thought we'd do a little round up here, and if you'd like to be involved simply tag us on social media using the tag #cultpenscreative, or email us direct with your work (sales@cultpens.com) for the chance to be featured too!

Thomas Shelby
Mark Bickley is an artist who sent us some fantastic images of his artwork using a range of tools from markers such as Copic and drawing pens for the finer details, our favourites of which are his portraits of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow and Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby. www.instagram.com/bickley_mark/?hl=en

Elliot Richards created this cross-hatch drawing of an ink bottle using a rOting Isograph 0.1mm technical drawing pen: the technique is incredibly effective! https://www.instagram.com/elliotx/?hl=en

Debbie Alban sent us this Mandala inspired image she created using Staedtler 334 Fineliner pens. We love the detailing and colour she's achieved here. https://www.instagram.com/lufcdeb/?hl=en

Sian Williams draws amazing pet portraits, including this gorgeous coloured pencil piece made using Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils - the colour and detail bring it to life so much! https://www.instagram.com/whenpapercalls/?hl=en

Next up we had two drawings from Seaohna confirming mice can indeed be nice - we love the effect here on the darker paper. And another of a magnificent Red Kite, both created using the Derwent Lightfast range. https://www.instagram.com/seaohna/?hl=en

We were in complete awe when Craig sent us this detailed eye drawing, hand drawn with Faber-Castell graphite pencils in a range of lead sizes for the different shades: https://www.instagram.com/_art_craig_/?hl=en

Another beautiful pet portrait of Duke the Dalmatian came from Imogen, coloured using Faber-Castell pencils on Clairefontaine's quality paper. https://www.instagram.com/immiesimages/?hl=en

Gandalf Art used the new Uni POSCA pencils for this drawing of an owl. The delicate colours and details are great, especially around the eyes - look at that depth achieved from shading the colour out. https://www.instagram.com/gandalf.art/?hl=en

Comic Artist James Turton sent us this pen and ink drawing of a dinosaur skull, hand drawn using ink and white charcoal on grey-tone paper - we love the pops of white in particular: https://www.instagram.com/zerve_86/?hl=en

Martyn Hayes mixed things up a bit favouring Winsor and Newton watercolours over pencil for his sketchbook pieces, and we love the effect he creates, really capturing each place he visits: https://www.instagram.com/martynhay3s/?hl=en

18 year old artist Emma has been featured with us before and for good reason; at 18 her skill is progressing with each new piece and we love seeing each new work. Emma uses a mix of media including pencils, watercolour and acrylic paint: https://www.instagram.com/eemmaartwork/?hl=en

Ludvig Persson

Ludvig Persson is next up with this pet portrait of a dog enjoying a lazy afternoon, drawn using a mix of Faber-Castell and Caran d'Ache Pastels: https://www.instagram.com/art_of_ludvigpersson/?hl=en

Pippa Granger

Another great piece, and this one with a great cause too, is from Pippa Granger. The artist is @kellyogorman_artist, then coloured by Pippa as part of the @dementia_uk 24/7 challenge where Pippa completed 24hrs of Arts and Crafts during August to raise money for Dementia UK's charity. https://www.instagram.com/pippagranger/?hl=en

Emily Harwood

Emily Harwood sent us this photo of a yoga mat she personalised with POSCA pens and we love it! It almost makes us want to start exercising... Almost. https://www.instagram.com/emilycatherineharwood/?hl=en

Another collaboration between @letter_design_font and @blis_273, created using a mixture of calligraphy and illustration - we love that 'O'! https://www.instagram.com/letter_design_font/?hl=en https://www.instagram.com/blis_273/

Our latest submission was from Tony. This is a graphite pencil drawing of Liverpool FC player which is so realistic it looks like a photo! Excellent work! https://www.instagram.com/drinkordraw/?hl=en

This is just some of the fantastic work you've been sending us and tagging us in over the last few months. Thank you to all our featured artists. Please keep them coming and if you'd like to be featured simply post your work and tag #cultpenscreative, or email it to us direct at sales@cultpens.com. No matter what type of art or work you produce with our stock, we love to see it all!
