As well as being a great wax crayon and colouring pencil, you can also use the Woody 3 in 1 as a watercolour pencil, here are some examples of how you can use the Woody 3 in 1.
Apply the STABLO woody 3 in 1 pigment to a sheet of paper (preferably watercolour paper or card). With a damp paint brush, sweep over the colour to transfer it onto the brush then apply as you would with a normal paint.
Express yourself with the STABILO woody 3 in 1 on glass, plastic, aluminium, steel or other smooth surfaces. Once finished simply clean off with water or glass cleaner.
The vibrant colours of STABILO woody 3 in 1, are ideal for black or dark coloured paper and card. Perfect for that night scene or creating your very own solar system.
Have fun layering different colours onto your paper, once the paper is covered. Cover it fully with a darker colour, and then very carefully scratch your design into the darker colour revealing all the different colours underneath. Parent supervision needed with this technique.
Using STABILO Woody 3 in 1 cover a piece of paper with lots of different coloured circles, once completed turn this sheet over and put it on top of a fresh piece of paper. Using a sharp graphite or coloured pencil, draw your design on the back of the coloured paper. Once complete gently remove the top sheet to see your multicoloured design revealed
Please note this technique is not suitable for children. Add dimension to your masterpiece with this technique, using a hair dryer gently heat the lead of the STABILO Woody 3 in 1 until it is soft and malleable. Using a small palette knife carefully scrape a piece of the softened lead and apply to page, repeat the process until you have achieved your desired look.
The STABILO Woody 3 in 1 can be also treated just like a pastel, using your finger you can blend and even mix colours. A fixative can be used to seal the final picture
Using a stencil apply the STABILO Woody 3 in 1 around the edge. Transfer this stencil to a clean sheet and using your finger rub the colour from the edge onto your page, repeat until your desired design has been achieved.
As you can see there are lots of ways to use the Woody pencil, it truly is multi-talented! How will use your STABILO Woody 3 in 1 pencils?
