National Stationery Week

Did you know that April is host to National Stationery Week here in the UK? National Stationery Week or NSW for short, aims to get people not just talk about writing, but encourage more and more of us to put pen to paper more often. In essence, it's a celebration of the written word and all things stationery.

National Stationery Week 2013

National Stationery Week officially takes place from the 22nd-28th April 2013, but there are many ways that you can get involved starting now, and NSW have highlighted some suggestions on their website. You can even get an 'I'm a Stationery Addict' badge!

In addition to the week-long celebration, the London Stationery Show also takes place during this time on the 23rd and 24th April. The London Stationery Show is the only trade exhibition dedicated to stationery in the UK and you can find out all about it here. There will be loads of events and promotions going on throughout NSW, so do keep a look out for offers and promotions.

We're getting in on the act as well with offers during the week, but to kick things off now, we have a huge pile of Faber-Castell goodies to give-away to three lucky winners, details below.

I love pens...everything about pens. My new favorites are gel pens used on Japanese paper. I have started copying down things I don't really care about just so I can write with it. I actually thought I was alone in my addiction but after looking around this page I learn I'm not alone. I so appreciate the comments people leave about the various products. I've tried many pens I might not have otherwise because of comments. My favorites are not even the most expensive ones.

Writing and drawing instruments have been the focus of my life and livelihood. Pens and pencils to use, ones to treasure and some to dream about and aspire to. All made a lot more attainable by Cult Pens.
