The Platinum Preppy fountain pen is lovely example of Japanese pen design - with a smart coloured polycarbonate barrel. It's the same low-price refillable fountain pen with an ink cartridge in one of 6 colours. The cap is translucent, and the barrel is coloured with a chic Japanese pattern. Hi-tech feed system ensures reliable ink flow.
Asa-no-ha has a orange barrel with a gold hexagon design. Traditionally, a triangle has been regarded as a symbol that indicates protection against evil spirits, and so a hexagon is believed to have even stronger power to ward off evil.
