Younghae Chung is the founder and owner of Logos Calligraphy and created this, the Copperplate Practice Pad. It's a step-by-step way of producing beautiful calligraphy in both upper- and lowercase letters. This set comprises the two pads.
Each pad begins with an introduction from Younghae Chung, outlining its use, and then there is more specific information on each of the different types of stroke. She then moves onto each individual letter of the alphabet, with instructions on exactly how to produce them, along with outlines to trace over. Towards the end of the pad are 'blank' pages with templates useful for practising different letters.
Each measures 180mm x 254mm, very slightly larger than B5: big enough for comfortable copperplate practice, but small enough to be portable. For best results use calligraphy ink or sumi ink. You could also use the practice sheets as guides underneath plain sheets of paper, to get the maximum use out of them!
