The Conklin Endura was originally released almost a century ago, in 1924. This strikingly beautiful limited edition has been made using the iridescent nacreous layer of the shells of marine molluscs known as Abalone in America, where this pen is made. The shells, however, are from New Zealand, where it's known by its Maori name of Paua.
The colours range from cobalt blue and peacock green to turquoise, acid yellow and coral pink, and different shades will be apparent when viewed at different angles. Hand-polished, this marvellous panoply of colour is set off by the polished gunmetal pocket clip, barrel band and grip area. It's fitted with a black JoWo stainless steel nib in medium only, stamped with the Conklin branding and featuring the crescent cut-out at the bottom of the slit.
Individually numbered out of 1,898; this number represents the year that Conklin was established.
Takes standard pattern ink cartridges, or fit the supplied converter for use with bottled ink. Presented in a luxury gift box.
