Made from entirely natural 'vegetable' products, these inks from L'Artisan Pastellier are great for calligraphy, or for more nuanced colours in artwork. Each one uses an appropriate process to extract the colour from a different material - wood, plants, flowers or vegetables. Walnut brown, for example, takes months of maceration of the walnut husks to extract the colour. Please note that the Cochineal colour is extracted from a particular beetle, rather than vegetation!
Not suitable for fountain pens - use with dip pens or brushes.
Each bottle contains 30ml of ink.
Please note that the label on the bottle may differ slightly from what is shown in the photograph, and irregularities in the wax coating on the lid are normal. Because of their origins, these inks have a distinctive odour.
