Zero Seiko Co. Ltd has been manufacturing high-precision components since 2004. Initially starting in aerospace and hydraulic components, the Japanese firm expanded into the stationery market as Zero Labo in 2012. Using micron-technology, imagination, and playful aesthetics, they have come up with a fascinating range of desk pens, and, apparently, space abacuses - whatever they are.
We particularly like the Tameiki 3-second pens, so named for the three seconds they take to sink into their stands. Zero pens are ideal gifts for any engineering-minded individuals and as a desk toy, they make a great alternative to a Newton's Cradle.
