Whats New August 2007
Lots of new stuff added over the last couple of months, and as usual too busy adding them to announce them here! Here's a quick run-down by manufacturer of new stuff in the last couple of months:

From Copic we have the very rare and very nice Copic Design Pencils - Graphic Pen and Nobby.

Faber-Castell have launched several new products this summer, and we've added the new colours and gel versions of the excellent Grip 2011 range; the new Poly Ball ballpoint; and the useful Eraser Sleeve; Also from Faber-Castell, we've added old favourites: the supreme 9000 Pencil range; TK Fine Mechanical Pencils; the full range of clutch pencils and lead in 2mm and 3.15mm; some more e-motion ballpoint and pencils finishes; the ECCO Pigment Liner; and the outrageously-cool UFO designer eraser and sharpener

Parker have reintroduced Red Quink cartridges, albeit in a smaller format. The good news is that along with red we now have turquoise, purple and pink. See the
new Quink Mini cartridges here.

Over in Pelikan, we're now selling Pelikan 4001 fountain pen ink in the economical 62.5ml bottle.

From Pentel we now have the full range of Pentel refills, plus Tetras Stylo and Tradio fibre-tip fountain pens. We've also added the unusual Ergonomix range of special grip writing instruments: Ergonomix Pencil, Ergonomix Ballpoint and Ergonomix Gel Rollerball

From Pilot: New barrel colours in the fabulous Decimo retractable fountain pen; and for school and office - the refillable Wytebord dry wipe marker range along with the refills.

Namiki bottled ink is now available from us.

From rotring, we've added a full range of technical pens and drawing ink including Isograph and Rapidograph.
The latest news on the poor old rotring Xonox drawing pen is that it's expected to be back in the UK in the New Year.

From Stabilo we've added a couple of favourites - the Bionic Worker rollerball, and the 's move elastic writer - plus the brand-new PointVisco gel rollerball in 10 colours.

From Zebra we have new additions to the popular Stainless Steel pen range: Zebra F-701 and Zebra F-301 Compact. We have also added the J-Roller RX Gel pen - in all three nib sizes and all 10 colours; and the Drafix mechanical pencil. Finally there are some superb new colours in the best-selling Expandz compact ballpoint.

Finally, we welcome new brand Sharpie to the site, with a complete selection of their marker range, including the classic Fine, and the Mini, Retractable and Twin-Tip versions.
June 2007 - PenFinder launches

We're pleased to announce the Cult Pens PenFinder. With around 2500 varieties of pen, pencil and refill in stock it's hard to find all the products in a particular category. The PenFinder can answer such questions as 'What rollerballs do you have that write in orange?'; or 'Which mechanical pencils do you have that have a big grip?'.

On supplier news, it seems that Sanford, owner of the Parker and rotring brands amongst others, are busy merging the rotring fine writing instruments operation into Parker, with the result that such pens as the rotring Newton and Esprit will be rebadged as Parker. Where this leaves rotring's vestigial technical drawing product range we're not clear. We've been told that rotring will continue and possibly even expand in this area, but we can only hope...

Uni whats new
June 2007 Lots of new products from Uni this month - including a brush-tip version of the fabulous POSCA marker; the Jetstream Sport; blue and red ink Uni Pin drawing pens; Fusion Flowers clear-to-colour rollerballs; and the new coloured-barrel version of the Signo 207 retractable.

Meanwhile, in other news:

Sheaffer UK have shut up shop as at the end of 2006. UK distribution and repair has been handed over to Stone Marketing. While Stone are experienced pen distributors we don't feel this is a good sign for the Sheaffer brand in general...
We've been busy - the elegant new pearwood finish for the Faber Ambition range is now in stock; we've added the Junior version of the popular Pelikano school fountain pen - triangular rubber grip and right- and left-handed versions; the Zebra Airfit 2+S is one of the coolest multi-function pens around; and a timeless classic - the Paper Mate Nylon, complete with brand-new light blue and pink versions. Enjoy...
March 2006: LOTS of new stuff this month! At the higher end of things we're pleased to welcome the new Porsche Design P'3140 ballpoint. A compact pen that's handy to carry around. The Pilot Bamboo fountain pen is an exotic creature - a stunningly-designed fountain pen of real quality. We're also pleased to add new styles of the timeless Pilot Capless fountain pen - one of our best-sellers and a real Cult Pen. Meanwhile at the other end of the scale the busy bees at the Pilot development labs have given us two new toys: The tiny Dr Pixie automatic pencil, just 10cm long, yet with a grip that makes it a practical proposition to use; and the technologically-interesting FriXion rollerball - a new twist on the erasable pen.
