Waterman Edson Fountain Pen
Edson is a pen of distinction: its 18 carat solid gold nib structure and translucent sapphire-blue body enclose a technically-perfected system for regulating ink flow (it does not leak, even at high altitude). Its prestigious design gives it a rare personality worthy of its name, that of Lewis Edson Waterman.
The barrel features:
A moulded and polished translucent material called Styrene Acrylo Nitril (SAN);
Three coats of a protective ultraviolet-hardened varnish for improved impact and wear resistance;
A hairs-breadth space between the outer barrel and internal brass construction to allow light through to create a glow or halo effect
The cap features an all-brass construction with a hard nickel-plating creating a matte finish
We order this pen direct from Waterman and hence allow up to two weeks delivery. However, this enables us to offer the complete nib range - choose from Extra-Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Stub (straight-cut italic), Fine Oblique or Broad Oblique nibs. Please contact us if you require one of these nibs, otherwise ordered pens will be supplied as medium nib.
Please note that we have had some problems sourcing Edson pens from the manufacturer, hence we have suspended this pen until they are able to normalise supply.
