The world of technical drawing imploded with the advent of computer-aided design. Instead of teams of draughtsmen labouring at drawing boards we have a boke with Autocad. Consequently manufacturers who produced little else suffered very badly - rotring dabbled in fine writing but this has recently been ceased and there are now just a few remaining tech drawing products. Companies such as Staedtler and Faber-Castell have a much more diverse product range and therefore not reliant on that single market. However they all continue to manufacture high-quality technical drawing pens and equipment and the traditional steel-nib technical pens are still very popular. We have several ranges of steel-nib drawing pens, plus a huge range of disposable drawing pens and drafting pencils. We now also have a range of templates, angles and rulers in stock.
For detailed information on the different types of technical drawing pens, see our article here.
