Platinum Hayakawa Limited Edition Pencil M-10000B

The Platinum Hayakawa M-10000B Pencil commemorates an interesting slice of mechanical pencil history.

In 1915 Tokuji Hayakawa began manufacturing mechanical pencils. His classic design was the EVER READY SHARP PENCIL. Mr Hayakawa later named his company after the pencil - the Sharp Corporation. Sharp is now one of the world's largest consumer electronics companies. The Ever Ready Sharp was very popular in Japan and is the reason why mechanical pencils are popularly known as 'sharp pencils' in Japan.

This edition is limited to a combined 10,000 pieces of pencils and matching ballpoint. The pencil is made from engraved silver-plated brass, 22.3g in weight, 135.5mm in length and 12.4mm max diameter.
Twist-action advance with 0.5mm lead. The cap pulls off to reveal an eraser. Remove the eraser to refill with lead.
