Platinum #3776 Century Fountain Pen

The Platinum #3776 Century range introduces the new 'Slip and Seal' airtight cap to the superb #3776 model. The innovative new screw-on cap system uses an inner plastic plastic seal with a strong spring. The primary benefit of this system is improved storage ability - the ink will not dry out even if left for over a year. An added benefit is improved resistance to leaks due to pressure changes.

Model no. PNB-10000. Black AS resin barrel with gold-plated trim. 14kt gold nib, rhodium-plated. '#3776' logo is engraved on the cap ring.
The nib of the #3776 is a beautiful piece of work - made in-house at Platinum, and all are hand-tested at the factory. This nib and feed is the same as that used in the legendary Nakaya Urushi pens.

Medium, fine and broad nibs available now, more nib sizes will follow later in 2012.

The #3776 name comes from the height in metres of Mt.Fuji, the highest and most beautiful peak in Japan.
