1919
Platignum Pen Co. changes the world of pens with the self-filling, gold-plated nib fountain pen.
1925
A revolution in pen design - the world's first replacement nib.
1939 - 1945
Platignum supports the war effort, commissioned by the MOD to create 'spy' pens concealing maps and compasses.
1950
Another breakthrough - the company invents the retractable ballpoint.
1962
The seminal Good Handwriting pen is introduced.
1965
Platignum introduces the ink cartridge and becomes synonymous with education for over 30 years.
1992
Platignum produces a collection of calligraphy sets to to complement its traditional writing range.
2007
Platignum's new signature style is introduced -
