Pilot Birdie Fountain Pen S70S

The little stainless-steel Birdie fountain pen is a favourite with those who appreciate a small but robust pen to pop in purses, pockets and organisers (fits the pen loop of most Filofax organisers). Slim and sleek (11cm long and a diameter of 8mm) with a black finger grip, it operates with the usual Pilot precision. The nib quality would grace a pen three times the price. The Birdie fountain pen takes Pilot IC-50 ink cartridges or bottled ink and is supplied with a converter. An absolute bargain.

Medium nibs, but as usual with Japanese fountain pens, these are a little finer than the typical European nibs.

Pilot Birdie Twin H575

The Pilot Birdie Twin (also known as the Birdie Duo), combines both mechanical pencil and ballpoint pen in one super-slim package. 12cm long and 5mm in diameter. 0.5mm lead and fine black ballpoint. No room for an eraser however.
