Pilot Birdie Twin H575

The Pilot Birdie Twin (also known as the Birdie Duo), combines both mechanical pencil and ballpoint pen in one super-slim package. 12cm long and 5mm in diameter. 0.5mm lead and fine black ballpoint. No room for an eraser however.

The little stainless-steel Birdie fountain pen is a favourite with those who appreciate a small but robust pen to pop in purses, pockets and organisers (fits the pen loop of most Filofax organisers). Slim and sleek (11cm long and a diameter of 8mm) with a white finger grip, it operates with the usual Pilot precision. The nib quality would grace a pen three times the price. The Birdie fountain pen takes Pilot IC-50 ink cartridges or bottled ink and is supplied with a converter. An absolute bargain.

Medium nib, but as usual with Japanese fountain pens, these are a little finer than the typical European nibs.
