Pentel GraphGear 1000 Automatic Pencil

A really nice heavy metal automatic pencil with a comfortable grip that's a mixture of knurled metal and translucent rubber. The metal lead sleeve retracts completely when you press down on the clip, to protect the lead. There's a lead hardness indicator, an integral refillable eraser under the chromed cap, and the pencil is available in 5 lead sizes:
