This pen is inspired by the 1899 work of Georg Tippel. The design centres on Tippel's flowing cloud formations from his artwork "Grundfarben", reinterpreted as a continuous guilloché pattern across the barrel. The semi-translucent warm brown resin of the cap and components gives the whole pen a rich, almost amber quality, nicely complemented by gold-plated trim throughout.
A special edition, luxury ink collection, 'Edelstein' means 'gemstone'. These inks have beautiful, jewel-like colours and are eye-catchingly displayed in heavy, sculpted, crystal-clear bottles. An Edelstein bottle is a stylish addition to any desk. For 2026, Pelikan has chosen Pyrite, with its metallic gold-grey tones. The stone symbolises protection, confidence and vitality - qualities we could all use a bit of in our writing.
