Parafernalia Revolution Pencil
The innovative Revolution design was developed in 1978 by Sergio Carpani to commemorate the construction of the Beaubourg in Paris (otherwise known as the Pompidou Centre, with its famous exposed structural skeleton design). The Revolution has been exhibited in the New York Museum of Modern Art. The Revolution pencil is hand-made in Italy from 31 separate pieces. At heart, this is a simple retractable pen design, but with the usual cylindrical barrel replaced by three parallel tubes. This is more comfortable to hold than it looks as it has a triangular profile, which is quite contemporary among ergonomic pen designs. The tubes are of aluminium, finished in various colours, with black plastic connecting pieces.
0.5mm pencil mechanism - uses any standard 0.5mm lead. See a list of our wide range of 0.5mm replacement lead here
The Revolution is supplied with a wooden stand that can display two Revolution pieces (treat yourself to a Revolution ballpoint as well!), and in turn is supplied in a smart card box. This makes a wonderful gift - for yourself or for someone else.
Sorry - orange finish is out of stock, and likely to be for some time.
