| Caran d'Ache was founded in Geneva in 1924 and remains Switzerland's only manufacturer of writing instruments. Designed, developed and manufactured in Thônex-Geneva. They have become known for their rather 'bling' range of gold and jewelled pens, along with lighters, wallets and cases. You'll probably also know them for their coloured pencils - especially in a tin of 12 bearing a picture of Swiss alpine scenery. However, the real interest for us lies in their 'Office' range - the rather wonderful 849 Metal Ballpoint, 844 Metal Pencil and the fabulous Fixpencil series of clutch pencils. |
